Dark and deep red. The dark color sets the tone for this wine's notes, which are as red and black as its shade: cherries, plums, licorice, dark chocolate, cassis and lingering smoked blacktar on the finish. Though tannic now, this wine should evolve. There's already some complexity beginning to develop out of its firm, quiet, supple core.
